Meet Your EDI Specialist

Ashling Akosa AssocCIPD MSc (she/her) is an experienced Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) specialist passionate about supporting people and organisations to achieve their goals.

With a deep understanding of the nuances of EDI, Ashling brings a wealth of experience in facilitating transformative change. Her expertise lies in designing and delivering impactful training programs that foster awareness, challenge biases, and cultivate inclusive behaviors. She is committed to empowering organisations to navigate the complexities of diversity and create cultures where everyone feels valued and supported. Ashling also has a strong background in custom consultancy and is skilled in tailoring EDI solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients. Ashling can support organisations with assessing their current state, developing inclusive policies, and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure a comprehensive and sustainable approach to EDI.

As a dedicated advocate for race and gender equity and a deep understanding of intersectionality, Ashling specialises in guiding organisations towards dismantling systemic racism and fostering environments of true inclusion as well as supporting actions and initiatives to enhance the progression of women of colour that are often marginalised in the workplace. Possessing a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by marginalised communities, Ashling utilises her expertise to develop strategic initiatives that drive meaningful change. Ashling is committed to equipping organizations with the tools necessary to challenge biases, eliminate barriers, and create equitable opportunities for all.

Ashling also has key research in the progression experiences of Black women in leadership roles and the experiences of Black students in Russell Group universities.
